Athletic Weight Training : Workouts are before school, during weight training class, and after school on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Workouts are for all Watauga athletes looking to increase their athletic performance. Multi sport athletes are strongly encourage to attend morning lifting sessions. This will allow time to rest and recover and be full speed to participate in other sports after school. Don't make Excuses, Do it the Watauga Way! Athletes who do not train properly in the weight room will not reach their full athletic potential, will not develop the strength and power needed for sports, and will be more prone to injuries while playing sports.
Football Workouts 2 hour delay/No School Plan
If we have a two hour delay on a workout day (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday), workouts will start at 9:15 am instead of 7:15 am. If school is canceled due to weather, weight workouts will be canceled. If school gets out early because of weather, after school weight workouts will be canceled. Go Pioneers!
